Diana Huambachano, LMHC

Diana is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Florida.  Diana earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University. Throughout her career she has worked in variety of settings including child and adolescent community mental health centers,  women birth clinics,  inpatient psychiatric facilities,  substance use treatment centers and Triple P-parenting programs.

Diana is passionate about working with women as they transition through their life stages, from adolescence, early adulthood, career, motherhood, and beyond. Diana specializes in teaching coping skills, managing anxiety and depression, increasing social skills, building confidence, and parent coaching. To help foster growth, Diana utilizes an integrative and holistic approach, incorporating techniques from Adlerian Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Informed Therapy (DBT). When working with children and adolescents, Diana combines talk therapy and art/play interventions to build rapport and encourage change, creatively.

Diana believes it is a privilege for her to walk beside her clients as they rediscover wholeness and individuality.  She understands that starting therapy takes courage and one of her therapeutic goals is to create a safe and confidential space where clients can focus on themselves and practice self-care.
